Accendo's segmented flow approach was thoroughly validated by using chemical methods to validate segmentation preparation, which included dispensing, mixing and injection into the primary flow.

In addition to the validation examples above, each collaborator received multiple first generation systems in 2007. These validation systems were installed at three sites in both medicinal and process research laboratories.

In 2009 the second generation Conjure was completed, which had may additional features to enable broader chemistry including the capability of performing two step reactions.
