Segments are composed of Reactant and Immisicible Solvent. Accendo's flow chemistry systems automatically prepare reaction segments based upon stoichiometry of the reaction mixture. Once the reactants are metered and mixed, they are injected into a high pressure flow reactor and transported through the temperature controlled reactor using a Transport Solvent, the flow rate of which controls the residence time of the segment through the reactor.
