Extremely accurate incubation rates are obtained using a UV Detector located at the outlet of the reactor.
The UV signal of the Transport Solvent and that of the Product are continually compared. When product
threshold value is detected, the actual incubation rate is recorded.
Accurate reaction temperature kinetics is with thermocouples embedded in the reactor cassette.
These sensors continuously monitor and record the actual segment temperature. The
average temperature during the segment's actual incubation is recorded.
Segments are prepared and injected only when the reactor is at temperature, which
minimizes reaction by-product formation at temperatures other than the desired incubation temperature.
