The Propel Flow Reactor System , introduced in February 2010, is an automated segmented flow reactor that uses the technology developed for the Conjure but designed for a multiple user "WALK UP" environment where ease-of-use is critical. With the Propel, exploring flow reactions is simple and fast, automatically screen up to nine conditions and scale to hundreds of grams. Like the Conjure, the Propel may be optionally configured for automated online LC/MS analysis.
The Propel is a perfect way to begin expanding your laboratory chemistry with segmented flow. The system was specifically developed as a shared laboratory resource. The Propel's software takes minutes to learn and reaction segments are programmed and initiated in seconds. The Propel utilizes all the same proven technology as that in the Conjure and therefore performs many of the same extreme and clean reactions.
Like the Conjure, the Propel automates all segment preparation and experiment execution including temperature controlled mixing of segments.
Multiple Propel reactors may be interconnected to create reaction channels as long as 10 ml for incubations of up to 100 minutes.
